Before heating the welliebellies, remove the scented grain pillow and heat only that in the microwave. Unlike water-filled hot water bottles, welliebellies don't cool down, but stay nice and cozy at body temperature even after 90 minutes.

Of course! Simply preheat the oven to 100°C and heat your welliebellie on a plate or on baking paper for 10 minutes (6 minutes is sufficient for small animals). Of course, the oven must be clean and the grill function turned off. Your welliebellie should cool back to room temperature before reheating.
A little tip: To cuddle up before falling asleep, we simply place our welliebellies on the radiator.

And yes! The grain pillow also retains the cold very well. You can also place the entire welliebellie in the refrigerator for about two hours. It's best to wrap it in a plastic bag to protect it from moisture.

Absolutely! After all, we have children ourselves – that's why we pay attention to the highest quality when manufacturing our welliebellies. There are no small parts that can be swallowed, nor any hidden toxins – so they're safe to suck on.

The welliebellies grain pillows are filled with a natural, organic grain and herb blend, made according to a very special recipe. The health herbs used—lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus, and peppermint—are primarily grown in Europe (Portugal, France, Serbia, and Morocco). They are carefully selected by us and subject to strict quality control.

The gentle welliebellies aroma remains stable for several months, only then slowly fading. You can refresh the scent by adding a few drops of fragrance oil to the already warmed bean bag; you can also order replacement bean bags from us.

We use European organic millet and flaxseed for our warming fillings. The grain is cleaned and filtered after harvest, then heat-treated until it is tested for microwaveability. However, some moisture may develop during the initial heating process – this is completely natural and will disappear with repeated use. Individual fibers of the filling may also push through the fabric or seams while cuddling with the welliebellies; this is also completely normal and not a quality defect.

welliebellies are particularly durable. However, should you ever wish to dispose of your product, it can be done in a very environmentally friendly way:

• The inlay: Since the filling consists of 100% natural materials (organic millet and herbs), the inlay can be disposed of in the organic waste or on the compost heap.
• The cover: The plush toy belongs in a clothing recycling bin or the general waste.
• Sustainability: We do not use chemical gels or plastic fillings, which makes welliebellies an ecological choice.

Yes, we rely on a subtle dosage of herbs. Furthermore, we also offer the option to order the welliebellie without any scent.

• Effect: The scent is designed to have a calming effect without irritating the airways.
• Dissipation: Should you find the scent too intense at first, simply air the product out in the fresh air for 1–2 days. As these are natural herbs, the intensity will naturally decrease over time.

We have consciously chosen organic millet, as it offers decisive advantages over wheat:

• Adaptability: Millet grains are smaller and rounder. This allows the pillow to adapt perfectly to the body shape (especially important for babies).
• Heat retention: Millet retains heat very evenly and releases it more slowly than wheat.
• Allergy info: Millet is naturally gluten-free and an excellent alternative for people with wheat intolerances.

All welliebellies have removable grain or cooling pads. The empty fabric cover can be hand-washed or machine-washed on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C. The grain pad itself is completely germ-free after each microwave use.

Correct heating is crucial for the longevity of the pillow and your safety. Whether using a microwave or an oven – follow these instructions for optimal results:

1. Heating in the microwave (Quick & Efficient):

• Power: Set to a maximum of 750 to 800 watts.
• Duration: Heat the pillow for approx. 60 to 90 seconds (30 seconds is often sufficient for smaller models).
• Important: The microwave turntable must be able to rotate freely and be clean to avoid scorch marks from food residue.

2. Heating in the oven (Gentle & Even):

• Temperature: Preheat the oven to a maximum of 100°C.
• Duration: Place the heat pillow on a clean plate or parchment paper (not directly on the rack) for approx. 10 minutes.
• Safety: Make sure to switch off the grill function!

There are various fillings for heating pads. Each has specific properties that are ideal for different needs:

Because your welliebellie is made especially for you and your child, the production process takes a little longer than you might be used to with our other orders. It will take 3-5 days for your personalized welliebellie to arrive. For example, if you order by Monday noon, your welliebellie will be delivered to the post office on Wednesday. If you order on Friday, we usually ship on Tuesday of the following week. Please take this time frame into account when placing your orders so that any gifts don't arrive too late.

Your welliebellie will be made by us exactly according to your specifications. Therefore, we cannot accept liability for any spelling errors in names, greetings, birth dates, etc. Since the personalized product is produced specifically for you, in the event of an error beyond our control, neither a refund of the purchase price nor an exchange of the welliebellie is possible.
